Day 12, 13, 14 Madrid

I haven't posted in a couple of days. When I am not out sight seeing, I am asleep. My cold is now a chest cold, but I am surviving. Madrid is a beautiful city and one of my favorites so far. It is hot, but a dry heat.

  2. Oh, do take care of that chest cold! The archetecture in your photos is just so surreal to me...so unlike anything here in this neck of the world!! Patrick, have you ever had a moment or two where you just can't even believe that you are seeing so much of Europe, that you are actually seeing these sights with your own eyes, and that you are on the other side of our planet as we soar through space????? I think if I ever went to Europe, it would be so overwhelming to me. I guess I'm wondering if you've had moments that were a bit overwhelming, too. Perhaps, since I live, work and shop in a one-mile area from my home, ANY kind of traveling seems overwhelming!! : )) Love you and sending prayers of good health and safe travels to you! : ))

  3. Patrick,

I am so sorry to hear that you are still dealing with a cold, let alone, a chest cold. I just love your pictures. The archetecture and landscaping just put us to shame!

Will it be hard for you to return to our simple structures? Hope you are feeling better. Take Care of yourself.
